What this is

pigeon searches Etsy once a day for themes you name, picks something you have not been shown before, and emails you on the mornings there is one. It is free: no paid tier, no subscription, no advertising. It is not a shop and takes no payment — every purchase happens on Etsy, between you and the seller.

What a find is, and is not

A find is not a recommendation. It is the most-favourited thing in your search that you have not been shown yet. Favourites is a popularity count Etsy publishes; it is not a review, not a measure of quality, and nothing here has seen, tested or vouched for any item.

Prices and availability are what Etsy returned when the search ran, up to a day ago, and can be wrong by the time you click. No warranty is given that anything here is accurate, current or fit for any purpose, and no liability is accepted for a purchase made or missed on the strength of it.

Your account

• You are responsible for the Google account you sign in with and for keeping access to it.
• You may delete everything at any time from the account page, which erases it immediately. See What it keeps.

Availability

This is a small service run by one developer. It may be unavailable, may miss a morning, and may be discontinued — in which case you will be told at the address on the account and the stored data will be deleted. No uptime is promised, and a missed find is not compensable.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to reach another person’s themes or finds, disrupt the service, or use it in a way that breaches Etsy’s own terms. Accounts doing any of these may be closed without notice.

Etsy

pigeon uses the Etsy Open API under Etsy’s API Terms of Use, reading public listing data only. It is an independent application: not made by Etsy, not endorsed by Etsy, not certified by Etsy, and not affiliated with Etsy. Listings, sellers, prices and purchases are governed by Etsy’s terms, not by these. Access to Etsy data may be changed or withdrawn at any time, which would stop this service working.

Changes

These terms may change. Material changes will be sent to the address on the account. Continuing to use the service after a change is acceptance of it.
